Yellowtail Sashimi Calories

Hello, am I eating right?

Hi! I’m currently on a serious mission to lose 15 lbs (no deadline so im not into any fad diets). This is what I’ve eaten today:

(all these in 4 hours, and done for the day)

2 medium-sized bananas
a handful of potato chips (Kettle brand)
potato crisp (not fried/ baked)
1 white nectarine
4 slices of raw yellowtail sashimi
A handful of yogurt-covered gummies
2 slices of wheat bread (sara lee 45 calories per slice)

estimated calories:

130+220+35+200+90+70+250= 995

I know I’d need to eat more protein & veggies but I hate salads! and I don’t really like exercising other than walking (I walk up to an hour each day under the hot sun). so, Ya’ll think im eating right?

Well that depends on how many calories your burning everyday. Weight loss is really just more out than in

In this provocative report, science writer Gary Taubes shakes up the health and diet community, which, he says, promotes a totally incorrect view of why Americans are overweight. According to Taubes, the "eat less and exercise" approach is a seriously flawed prescription that has failed Americans for too long. He reexamines the ways that calories, fats, and carbohydrates affect the body, and he makes a critical distinction between what he calls "good" calories (those without carbs and sugars) and "bad" carbohydrates (which contain carbohydrates and sugar and which stimulate the body`s insulin levels, leading to an increase in fat.) Exercise, he says, just makes us more hungry. Taubes also criticizes the way research is, in his view, misused by the health community (as well as by journalists). GOOD CALORIES, BAD CALORIES is a bold step taken by a writer who has stopped to ask fundamental questions about food, health, and disease.
