Ever have swordfish sashimi?
While you can’t have it ALL the time cause of the mercury, it is a DELICIOUS sashimi dish. I believe the japanese name for it is “kajiri”…
It is def more “red” tasting…heartier…than other white fish, like Yellowtail. It can be a BIT tougher texture-wise, and doesnt melt in your mouth like a good tuna or Salmon Sashimi.
that said, its a fun dish to have a couple times a month at MOST (like I said, lots of mercury).

the worms you are talking a bout are usually BIG. You can easily see them poking out of the fish steak, or at LEAST when you take a bite.
I do make my own seared fish / sashimi, so I can see i ftheres something wrong.
