quail egg at a sushi place?
I went to a sushi restaurant tonight and they had quail egg on the menu. I decided to try it out of curiosity. so it arrived with the top of the shell open, they had added sesame oil to it. I’m wondering if anything else is done to prep it? I can’t beleive I downed a raw bird egg but then again I was already Eating Raw Fish.
I’m not looking for recipes to do with quail egg. I’m asking about the preperation in the form that I ate it. I tasted sesame oil and am wondering if they add anything else to it? If I did this at home would I need to know anything special? Anyway my raw quail egg was good
wow…you would think it would be served with some type of seafood, especially if it came in a shell…you are a brave sole…how was it?…you didn’t say.
