What is a good way to start liking fish?
I know this is a weird question, but please bear with me.
I have never really been a fish person, I don’t really like it. But a lot of my friends love it! especially sushi, my friends are always trying to get me to eat it. I want to learn to start liking fish so that I can enjoy it with my friends, fish is also rather high in nutrients and it’s a lot better for you than eating beef (if the fish isn’t contaminated with a huge amount of mercury).
Do you have any tips?
I’ll be honest. I hate fish. But I have developed a taste for shrimp with cocktail sauce. I found that I like it better if it’s mild and there’s a tasty sauce on it.
Also it’s very important that the fish is fresh — as fresh as possible.
Fish sticks and fish cakes used to be made out of haddock. As long as I can drown them in catsup or tartar sauce then I can tolerate them.
Also try tuna packed in water or a tuna sandwich from a deli. For some reason eating it without having to cook it makes it taste a little better.
