need help identifying funnel spider in minnesota?
i found a spider in a window track today which was very large compared to most spiders found in minnesota, especially anything found indoors. it was orange-brown in color, and slightly larger in size than a pink eraser (including legs). it had spun a funnel-shaped web into the corner of the window between the inner window and the storm window, and i found nearby a sac of eggs which were also quite large for spider eggs. the were bright clear orange in color and almost the size of roe (fish eggs) that you would find in sushi. i’m curious what this is and whether it is native to minnesota since i’ve never seen one before. thanks!
