Looking for a yummy dessert recipe that will make me look clever 
?
We’re having a few friends over tonight – this is our first dinner party since we had our daughter a couple of months ago. We’re having sushi/sashimi and little hot japanese-y things but I really wanna knock their socks off with dessert.
Btw, we’ll be dining in the garden and it’s a bit hot today if that helps..
What would you recommend? Thanks!
Fresh Fruit Pizza:
1 Round Pizza pan or rectangle cookie sheet,Sprayed with Pam or greased with Butter
12 to16 ounces of room temp.Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Sugar or slightly more or slightly less,taste test as you go
6 Varieties of fruit all sliced thinly and some Berries and/or Cherries
Caramel Sauce or one you like warmed to drizzle on top
Whipped Topping
Roll out the pie crust to fit evenly on sheet,bake at 350 for 15 minutes,set aside to cool
Mix the Cream Cheese with the sugar til fluffy and spreadable
Spread evenly onto the cooled pie crust
Alternate fruit slices as you were making a spiral in a fashion from the middle outward overlapping each slice slightly
(We always used a round Pizza Pan for ours)
Drizzle caramel over fruit likewise,following the same spiral pattern
slice servings and put onto plates,add the whipped topping in generous dabs,top with a few Berries/Cherries and enjoy!
Always a crowd pleaser and perfect for all the heat outside and food wise,a great summer desert.
