Sashimi Flounder

sashimi flounder
what wines would you pair with the following foods:?

I am trying to figure out some good wine pairings for the following foods: beef, raw sashimi tuna, flounder, pasta (with red ragu sauce) and scallops. any tips?

like would a buttery chardonnay go with scallops?

Beef Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot for thick rare meat , thinner wel cooked meat will match red Bordeaux or Chianti ( a lite wine )

sashimi Pinot Noir

flounder dry whites such as unoaked Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or Soave

pasta ,lite wine such as Italian white Pinot Grigio
and though im not familliar with the sauce . . .
Creamy/buttery – natural Chardonnay territory – the richer the sauce, the fuller the Chard. Other richly textured white wines like Viognier and good quality Chenin Blanc work well too
Tomato-based
Italian reds generally cope best. Or wines made from Italian grapes such as Barbera or Sangiovese. Dry earthy Italian whites such as Verdicchio work too especially with uncooked tomato sauces

scallops , and yes i think a nice chard would go quite nice :D

go mai oroshi hirame (fluke filet for sashimi)
