what to cook..??
ive been preparing myself to start becoming a chef, and i want to start off with studying the quality of foods. How to determine if fresh or not, the nutrition of different foods etc. But i want to cook dishes while i learn about those things. What type of foods focus on its quality? ive heard that japanese cooking is important on the quality of the ingredients, but are there any other types of food too??
True that Japanese cooking include mostly quality foods, always very fresh. Super market vegetables and fruits aren’t fresh enough my teacher always says. There are also many other cuisines that need quality foods, but follow your taste and smell. I find that I can cook better that way. Will it taste good with fresh basil or dried, of course fresh. You don’t want to swallow scratchy dried stuff, you want to enjoy the smell and fresh texture of fresh live basil. wee.
